About Bridal Trial

A bridal trial is a wonderful way to ensure your wedding day look is exactly as you’ve imagined, so there are no surprises on the big day. It typically takes about 3-4 hours and begins with a skin & hair consultation, as well as your makeup and hairstyle preference. During the session, we’ll explore what styles and products work best for you and try two makeup looks, two hairstyles, and different headpieces to create your perfect combination. I’ll also take before-and-after photos for reference and make detailed notes about what you love, so on your wedding day, you can just sit back and relax.

Feel free to bring inspiration photos of looks you like—I’d love to see your vision. Bridal trials are done at my location in North York, Toronto. If you choose to skip the trial, I’m happy to offer a free virtual consultation before your wedding to discuss your makeup, hair, and headpiece preferences. Having a few pictures ready for inspiration during the call is highly recommended.

Please reach out via email or instagram message to check availability (include your wedding date and specify service/package.)

→ If the makeup artist is available, pricing details will be shared

→ If you’re interested, inquire about available trial dates

→ Choose the date and time

→ Prepay for the trial makeup

→ Your trial is confirmed.

The trial typically takes about 3-4 hours, which includes two makeup looks and two hairstyles and trying on different headpieces. Because it’s your first meeting with the makeup artist, there will be some time for communication and a photo session, so the trial may take a little longer than the actual wedding day makeup.

Once the trial fee is paid, the makeup artist will send you important details about the trial makeup session.

Yes, you can bring one guest for their feedback.

  • If you have natural black hair and want the look to closely match your wedding style, it’s recommended to dye your hair brown.
Black hair may not have as much layering, and an updo might look more mature.
However, if you’re looking for a more natural look, you can still attend the trial with black hair. If your hair has grown out from a previous dye, it’s not necessary to dye it again—you’ll still get a good idea of the final result.

Not exactly. Isa will contact you 3-4 weeks through text before the wedding to finalize everything. As an experienced wedding makeup artist, Isa will assist in confirming the wedding day timeline and provide suggestions to ensure everything goes smoothly. Please make sure your wedding dress is finalized before this time, so you can also confirm your wedding day hairstyles and headpieces.

About Wedding Day Services

You can book the service by paying a 30% deposit of the service fee. You can still add on service until one month prior to your wedding. The remain balance can be settled on your wedding date.

On your wedding day, the bride’s initial makeup and hairstyling typically take about 3 hours. If you’d like a look change or touch-up session, it usually takes 20-30 minutes.

For a pre-wedding photoshoot, the bride’s initial makeup and hairstyling take around 2.5 hours, with additional look changes requiring about 30 minutes each.

A Look Change is a full transformation session designed for different occasions or outfit changes. It includes a complete makeover with new makeup, hairstyling, and headpieces to match the desired look.

Touch-Up Hours refer to the time Isa stays on-site during the wedding to assist with everything you need. This includes makeup and hair touch-ups, helping with dress adjustments, managing the schedule, and providing overall support to ensure you look and feel your best throughout the event.

Yes, I provide complimentary accessories rental for each set of bridal look, including headpieces, crowns, earrings, or necklaces for you to match with your look. This rental service requires a $50-100 security deposit per pieces. The deposit is refundable upon the complete return of the items. Damaged or lost items must be compensated at full value. Items should be returned to Sheppard Yonge station within 2 days after the wedding. Late returns incur additional charges.

It’s best to book makeup/ hair services for your Bridesmaids and Guest 1-3 months before the wedding, so i can secure the additional HMUA for your wedding.

Once your wedding makeup service is confirmed, the makeup artist will send you a list of things to prepare for your wedding day.
